Teamsters
Due to increased injuries and deaths on the job, the Teamsters (MWED) needed a campaign to highlight National Day of Mourning. We worked with the Teamsters rail division to develop campaign we named Don’t Turn Your Back to the Track. The goal of the campaign was to reinforce the importance of safety in the workplace and build union-wide solidarity.
Postcards
Postcards were designed with bold messaging, encouraging members to wear their hats and share the campaign with their family, friends and colleagues.
Hats
Canadian-made hats featuring campaign messaging, were customised packaged and sent to individual union members. The hats were meant to encourage the union members to spread the message of safety.
The campaign created positive feedback from members. Supporters not only wore their hats but they also shared the campaign on their social media networks with their family, friends and colleagues.
