Teamsters

Due to increased injuries and deaths on the job, the Teamsters (MWED) were looking to put together a campaign that would highlight general safety on the job as well as the National Day of Mourning. We worked with the Teamsters Rail Division to develop a campaign - Don’t Turn Your Back to the Track - reinforcing the importance of safety in the workplace and building union-wide solidarity.

Postcards

Postcards were designed with bold messaging, encouraging members to wear their hats and share the campaign with their family, friends and colleagues.

Hats

Canadian-made hats, custom-designed with campaign imagery and messaging, were packaged and sent to individual union members. The hats were sent out to members to encourage them to spread the message of safety within the union and their communities.

THE CAMPAIGN RESULTED IN POSITIVE FEEDBACK FROM MEMBERS. SUPPORTERS NOT ONLY WORE THEIR HATS, BUT ALSO SHARED THE CAMPAIGN WIDELY ON SOCICAL MEDIA WITH THEIR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND COLLEAGUES.
